Student, IT Governance and Compliance

In this role you will

• support user access certification and review activities;
• assist with monitoring and completing IT compliance activities;
• review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement;
• develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, and supporting materials;
• collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to follow up on compliance-related activities and outstanding -items; and support other IT governance, risk, and compliance initiatives as required.

Required

• you are a third- or fourth-year university student currently enrolled in computer science or related program; and
• you must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.

Recommended

• an interest in IT governance, risk, compliance, or cybersecurity;
• coursework or academic projects related to information systems, IT management, or information security;
• familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word;
• strong attention to detail and the ability to follow a defined process accurately;
• good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document information clearly;
• the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; and
• a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Salary Range: $60,899 - $74,952
