In this role you will
- Support the documentation of spatial data, workflows, standards and procedures.
- Create, update and maintain spatial data, maps and other GIS products.
- Assist with organizing, reviewing and improving the quality of spatial datasets.
- Research GIS tools, methods and emerging technologies and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Required
- you are a university student entering your third or fourth year enrolled in geographic information science, environmental science, computer science, library sciences, or related program;
- you must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
Recommended
- experience with GIS software, such as Esri ArcGIS Pro;
- working knowledge of GIS concepts and spatial data;
- strong attention to detail with an interest in data quality and organization;
- ability to follow established standards, procedures, and documentation practices; and
- strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
