The Role
The Saskatoon Evergreen Kumon Centre is looking for a positive, reliable, and highly detail-oriented Assistant/Grader. This role involves working with young children and assisting with various operational tasks. We provide comprehensive training and opportunities for professional growth.
Schedule
This is a casual position. Applicants must be available during our weekday class hours:
- Tuesday to Friday: 4:00 pm 7:00 pm
Education and Experience
- Detail-Oriented: Must possess a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Academic Strength: Strong high school-level math and reading skills; ideally suited for Grade 11/12 or University students.
- Background: Past Kumon students or those with previous Kumon work experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Grading: Accurately and quickly grade Math and Reading worksheets.
- Instruction: Support Early Learners (ages 3 - 7) and new students as they master the Kumon method and centre routines.
- Administration: Manage front desk duties, including student check-in/out and handling parent inquiries during class.
- Clerical Support: Assist with data entry and student folder preparation.
- Student Success: Ensure students have all necessary materials to take home and maintain an enthusiastic learning environment.
- Teamwork: Perform other activities as required to help students achieve their learning objectives.
