Territory Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will professionally represent SeedMaster and work closely with our dealer network. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual territory sales objectives. Major activities are focused on growing SeedMasters dealer business by establishing strong productive relationships with the territory dealers and building sales through consistent and timely sales support and technical advice to SeedMaster dealers and customers.

• Reporting interactions, sales opportunities & forecasts

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Business, or Marketing is valued
• 4+ years of sales experience in the agricultural industry is preferred
• Formal training in Agriculture & Ag business is an asset
• Demonstrated expertise in Territory Management & growing sales
• Independent and self-motivated while also a strong team collaborator
• Strong selling, planning, strategy, & negotiation skills
• Excellent planning & organization
• Interpersonal skills, relationship development & public speaking skills
• High Level of competence with Windows & Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with operating, setting & troubleshooting farm machinery is essential (tractors, seeding equipment, rate control consoles)
• A valid drivers license & acceptable driving record

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Agriculture/manufacturing environment
• Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory, including regular overnight travel. Hands-on technical support on farm

This position requires a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings & weekends during peak agricultural seasons.
