Team Leader Food Store - Partnership (15925)

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Team Leader in partnership with the Cumberland House Cree Nation. This position is onsite at the Chief Island Food and C-Store location in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives and Cumberland House Cree Nations vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in the community, with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide and exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency, providing quality service and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Supervise and motivate team members to meet productivity and customer service goals.
• Ensure the departments are displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
• Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
• Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
• Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco and lottery.
• Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
• Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.

Who You Are

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 + years experience in retail grocery operations, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with inventory management, merchandising, and team supervision.
• Available to work a flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends required
