Martensville Collective Health and Wellness is hiring a Temporary Full-Time Senior Medical Office Assistant (MOA). The Senior Medical Office Assistant (MOA) plays a vital role in supporting the efficient and professional operation of the clinic. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to physicians and staff, ensuring smooth workflow and positive patient experience. The Senior MOA will handle a variety of tasks, including executive administrative tasks, assisting with HR management and payroll, overseeing MOA training, patient registration, scheduling, updating medical records, managing correspondence, assisting with examinations and procedures, and maintaining a clean, and well-stocked clinic environment.
Responsibilities
Submit, correct, and reconcile physician billing weekly
Follow up on outstanding bills
Calculate physician and NP payments biweekly
Submitting MOA hours to payroll biweekly
Assist with staff and physician scheduling
Assist with onboarding of staff and training of MOAs
Assist with EMR optimization
Qualifications
Previous MOA or leadership experience is an asset
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of administrative work efficiently.
Familiarity with primary care practices and basic medical terminology.
