Part-Time Childcare Assistant

Do you love working with children and want to start a career in Early Childhood Education? Join our team! Caspers Early Learning Co-operative Centre is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Childcare Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist educators with children'ss daily care, supervision, play, and learning activities.
• Support daily routines, including meals, handwashing, toileting, and diapering as needed.
• Help prepare activities and learning materials.
• Clean and sanitize toys, tables, and childcare spaces.
• Assist with laundry, tidying, organizing supplies, and general housekeeping.
• Help with snack preparation and kitchen cleanup when required.
• Follow centre policies, safety procedures, and childcare licensing requirements.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
• Previous childcare experience is considered an asset but is not required.
• ECE certification not required
• Previous childcare experience is an asset but not required.
