LIBRARY TECH 2 - Canwood Public School - TPT

We have a temporary part-time Library Technician 2 position available at Canwood Public School starting January 4, 2027, or as mutually agreed upon, to June 25, 2027.

1. 25 hours per day/16.25 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Successful completion of Grade 12 coupled with a post-secondary Library Technician diploma or certificate from a recognized institution as approved by the Board of Education.

Familiarity with the Insignia Software would be a definite asset.

Must possess and maintain a valid drivers licence.

Working knowledge in the operation and basic maintenance of automated library systems.

Ability to code according to MARC standard.

PLEASE NOTE: If an applicant does not meet the requirements, we will consider underfilling the position. If this is the case, there will be an expectation to complete certain library courses after the successful applicant begins the position. If the job is underfilled it will be filled with a Library Clerk. (Rates as per CUPE 4195 Collective Agreement)
