Early Childhood Educator

Broadview Daycare is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team!

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children's learning, development, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences that encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and social development
• Follow Saskatchewan childcare licensing regulations, centre policies, and procedures
• Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Supervise children at all times and ensure their safety and well-being
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow daily routines, schedules, and established programming
• Communicate professionally and effectively with families and team members.

Qualifications

• ECE Level I certification
• Current criminal record check/vulnerable sector check
• Valid First Aid/CPR is an asset
• Knowledge of child development and play-based learning principles
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Reliable, patient, and nurturing, with a positive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism
