Director of Generosity

The Director of Generosity provides strategic leadership for the Saskatchewan Community Foundations donor development, stewardship, planned giving, professional advisor engagement, granting, fund services, and community impact activities.

The role leads the Foundations generosity strategy, building and strengthening relationships with donors, fundholders, professional advisors, and community partners while identifying opportunities to grow charitable giving and deepen long-term engagement.

The Director oversees donor stewardship and recognition, planned and legacy giving, community granting and scholarships, donor-advised and other charitable funds, and the connection between donor generosity and meaningful community needs.

As a senior leader, the Director translates strategic priorities into operational plans, budgets, performance measures, and measurable outcomes. The position also provides leadership and development to the generosity team, supporting accountability, collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires strong relationship-building, leadership, communication, and presentation skills, along with significant experience in philanthropy, fundraising, donor development, community engagement, or related fields.
