Role Overview
The sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring a safe, compassionate, and professional patient experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, small parts, and musculoskeletal imaging).
Prepare patients, obtain history, and explain procedures clearly.
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain imaging records.
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan (CMRIPS).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Legally authorized to work in Canada
MondayFriday (8:00 AM5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break)

Starting from $40.00 /hour depending on experience
