Child Care Centre Supervisor

Regina Early Learning Centre (RELC) is seeking an experienced, collaborative Childcare Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our licensed childcare centre. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Supervisor provides leadership to staff, ensures licensing compliance, supports families, and promotes high-quality, inclusive, child-centred programming.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the childcare centre.

Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff.

Prepare schedules and maintain legislated staff-to-child ratios.

Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan Child Care Regulations and Ministry licensing requirements.

Oversee enrolment, admissions, waitlists, and family communication.

Maintain program records, licensing documentation, and administrative processes.

Assist with budgeting, purchasing, payroll support, and financial reporting.

Promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment.

Build positive relationships with families, community partners, and government agencies.

Support continuous quality improvement and represent RELC within the community.

Qualifications

Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree (ECE Level III preferred).

Minimum three (3) years' experience in a licensed childcare setting.

Supervisory or leadership experience.

Knowledge of Saskatchewan childcare regulations and licensing requirements.

Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Current First Aid/CPR Certification.

Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.

Position Details

Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening meetings or special events may be required.
