Carpenter

DRC Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Carpenter to join our team in Regina, Sk.

We specialize in residential and commercial construction and are looking for a skilled individual. The ideal candidate will have a strong carpentry background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team based environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, is dependable, and can manage projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Plan and organize daily tasks to keep projects on schedule
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects
• Identify and resolve construction related issues if they arise
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
• Ensure work meets company quality standards and building codes
• Communicate effectively with management, crew members and other trades
• Take responsibility for completing assigned projects efficiently and professionally

Qualifications

• Journey person certification. 4th year apprentices will be considered.
• Several years of hands-on carpentry experience
• Strong background in residential and light commercial is an asset
• Ability to plan, organize , and complete tasks
• Strong knowledge of framing, and general carpentry practices
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide great client service
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is preferred

Wages based on experience.
