Cafe Attendant

Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa is looking for a reliable Part-Time Cafe Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide warm and attentive service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming environment and a positive dining experience.

Schedule:  Fridays 6pm - 12:30am

Qualifications

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends

Minimum age requirement: 19 years

Previous experience in food and beverage service is an asset

Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Strong problem-solving abilities

Positive and energetic attitude

Must have Serve It Right

Other certifications will be an advantage like WHMIS, and FOOD SAFE are considered assets

STEC certification (Food and Beverage Server and/or Bartender) considered an asset

Duties

Process food, beverage, and pool admission orders using the POS system

Provide exceptional customer service to all guests

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of Morningsides Cafe and Pool Reception Area

Handle pool program registrations accurately

Perform accurate daily cash-out procedures

Open and/or close the Caf as scheduled

Work flexible hours based on business needs

Retrieve and return daily stock from the kitchen

Support other departments on the 4th floor as required

Track sales and inventory with precision

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Managers
