Health & Safety Coordinator

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team in Moose Jaw.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will support RCESIs Health & Safety Program, Safety Management System, employees, supervisors, management, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include

Supporting safety policies, procedures, and programs

Conducting site inspections, audits, and safety visits

Following up on deficiencies, incidents, and corrective actions

Managing safety training, certifications, competency assessments, and statistics

Preparing and delivering safety meetings and supporting BBS

Supporting hiring, onboarding, and safety orientations

Developing and updating SWPs, policies, and safety documentation

Supporting COR, ISN, client requirements, and safety prequalifications

Managing PPE and safety equipment

Providing field safety support and attending client safety meetings as required

Qualifications

2+ years of Health & Safety experience in construction and/or oil & gas

Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions

CRSP designation or working toward one

First Aid, H2S Alive, and OH&S Level 1 & 2, or willingness to obtain

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to work in office, shop, and field environments

Valid drivers licence with clean abstract

Willingness to travel throughout Southern SK, Alberta, and Manitoba and work overtime/weekends as required

Additional safety training is an asset.

MondayFriday, 7:00am5:00pm, with evenings, weekends, and shift work as required.

Safety Sensitive Position: Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled upon hire as required.
