Accountant

PWM is seeking an Accountant who is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly with inventory, cost accounting, and production-related financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making

Assist in preparing management reports and KPIs

Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead

Maintain accurate inventory valuation and support cycle counts and audits

Support standard costing processes and variance analysis

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA designation (completed) is strongly preferred

5-10+ years of accounting experience

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (strongly preferred)

Experience with cost accounting and inventory management

Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
