Financial Controller

PWM is seeking a Financial Controller who is responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial activities, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and supporting business decision-making. This role plays a critical part in cost control, financial planning, and operational analysis within a manufacturing setting, with a focus on inventory, production costing, and process efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and variance analysis

Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets

Develop and maintain standard costing systems for hydraulic components and assemblies

Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, and overhead allocation

Lead the annual budgeting process & rolling forecasts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional designation required (CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent)

5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience

Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment (hydraulic or industrial sector preferred)

Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, standard costing, and inventory management

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
