This is to fill one casual, full-time position working 75 hours biweekly.

The Opportunity
This position supports the orderly proceedings of the courts by providing administrative and operational support to the Yukon court registries primarily in Whitehorse, including preparing court documents, generating and inputting computer entries, taking and recording payments, keeping and organizing court records and providing some frontline customer service by responding to inquiries from various sources including the judiciary. The incumbent performs these duties to standards established by legislation, court rules and directives, and policies and procedures that meet the goals and objectives of the judiciary, Court Services branch and the Yukon Government.

Essential Qualifications

- Proficiency in computer software applications;
- Substantial customer service experience;
- Experience in court operations or records management is considered an asset;
- Experience applying legislation and regulations in a professional context is considered an asset.

Job Requirements
- Working overtime with little or no notice, including coverage of weekend bail court;
- Wearing court attire if in court.
Compensation Details
$37.98 - $43.97
