Team Leader - Partnership (16758)

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Team Leader in partnership with the Cumberland House Cree Nation. This position is on-site at the Par-A-Mart C-Store/Gas Bar location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives and Cumberland House Cree Nations vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in the community, with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide and exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Build, motivate, and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency, providing quality service, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance management systems.
• Ensure team members are displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy with a focus on maintaining brand standards.
• Ensure inventories are protected and responsibly managed to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment throughout all store operations.
• Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
• Adhere to all policies and government regulations in relation to the sale of age restricted items, such as lottery and tobacco products.

Who You Are

• 5+ years experience in retail convenience store operations, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of fuel products, pumps, and compliance requirements in a full-service environment.
• Available to work a flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends are required.
• Carry a valid drivers license (class 5 minimum).
• Fulfill physical job requirements, including standing for entire shift and lifting 25-50 lbs.
