About this role
Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) is a community-based organization that is funded by the federal government through Canadas Homelessness Strategy to provide financial resources to homelessness projects in Saskatoon to mitigate and reduce the number of people and families homeless or at risk of homelessness in Saskatoon.
The Reaching Home Sub Project Coordinator provides key administrative support to assist in the delivery of the Reaching Home Program. SHIP provides funding to CBOs, and provides financial and activity monitoring of Reaching Home projects.
ROLES and RESPONSIBLITIES
Conduct risk assessments, contract and budget negotiation and draft final agreements for a portfolio of assigned projects for managerial approval.
Conduct on site financial and activity monitors of Reaching Home funded projects. Identify challenges, monitor CA and HIFIS compliance, ensure accurate data collection.
Process monthly claims, track activities and report on outcomes of funded projects.
Identify Sub Project challenges and opportunities for Sub Project improvements to mitigate risk and support project to achieve their desired outcomes.
Primary support for system mapping project, input and update data entry, strong computer skills, Microsoft 365 required.
Develops financial, data and activity monitoring reports from subprojects, including data analysis to ensure accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build collaboration relationship with Ship and community partners stakeholders.
Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
You also possess the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:
A relevant post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline e.g., data collection, Indigenous studies, Social Work, Business Administration or Commerce Degree
Experience in administration, monitoring and evaluation, and project analysis
