Student Research Assistant

Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Student Research Assistant at our Research Farm, in Yorkton, SK. This is a full-time, term position, from May 1, 2027 to August 30, 2027.

The Opportunity

This position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of the applied research project at the research farm, including serving local producers.

Requirements

• The minimum educational qualification for this position is equivalent to the admission to a post-secondary program offered at Suncrest College (University programs preferred).
• Active learner with a post-secondary institution.
• The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is less than one year.
• Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Valid Saskatchewan Driver's license
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the position term
