Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the worlds largest high-grade uranium mill. The Role

• Reporting to and working with the environment officer, you will be responsible for supporting the operations environmental compliance program, performing monitoring activities such as collecting, preparing and shipping water, air quality and other samples, data entry and processing, and report preparation. You will assist in providing training and information to employees on environmental issues and environmental aspects of the operation.
• This position is a part-time job share opportunity with the intended rotation of 1 week at site, and 3 weeks off.

In this role, you will

• Carry out environmental compliance monitoring activities.
• Conduct environmental site inspections.
• Assist in wildlife management and monitoring activities and programs.
• Assist with environmental emergency response.
• Provide support during environmental events.
• Provide training and information for employees on environmental issues.

Required

• environmental/radiation technician certificate or diploma;
• three to six years of relevant work experience;
• equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
• demonstrated field experience working in remote locations;
• proficiency with Microsoft Office products;
• valid drivers license;
• valid firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL);
• valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC); and
• work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
