The Role
- You will work with a team of tradespeople to proactively maintain equipment helping the site to -operate safely and efficiently. As a team member, you will make data driven decisions, follow --your processes and collaborate with others to make improvements as opportunities are identified.
In this role, you will
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and ---reliable production.
- Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH -----transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs.
Required
- grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
- interprovincial red seal or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma;
- up to three years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment;
- ability to work in a team environment; and
- work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended
- experience with Delta V DCS and/or Schneider PLC systems;
- experience with SAP;
- troubleshooting experience would be an asset; and
- experience with various instrumentation programming and configuration software.
