About this role
Handitt is Saskatchewan's local odd-jobs app. Customers in Saskatoon post outdoor jobs year-round: snow removal from November to March, then lawn and yard work in the warmer months. You choose the jobs that fit your schedule.
What you'll do
- Snow and ice removal and salting for driveways, walkways and small lots
- Emergency snow clearing after storms
- Lawn mowing, edging, yard clean-up and leaf removal
- Gardening, planting and hedge trimming
- Gutter cleaning, pressure washing, fence and deck cleaning
What you need
- A shovel or snow blower to start; plow, mower and trailer for bigger jobs
- Reliable early-morning availability in winter
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in Saskatchewan weather
- 18+ and able to pass identity verification
Pay and schedule
- Casual, flexible work: accept only the jobs you want, no minimum hours
- Independent contractor (self-employed): you set your own hourly rate and see your exact payout before you accept a job
- Paid weekly through Stripe; no sign-up fee
