Site Services Operator 4

In this role, you will

• Provide bus and luggage services for site personnel.
• Maintain site roads by performing snow clearing, sanding and other required road maintenance activities.
• Maintain the airport runway and apron to support safe site operations.
• Operate a vacuum truck to support waste disposal activities.
• Operate a water truck and provide water truck services as required.
• Participate as a member of the site emergency response and mine rescue team and complete the required training to support safe and effective responses to surface and underground emergencies.
• Participate in first aid, fire, mine rescue and other emergency response exercises and scenarios.
• Meet the physical conditioning and medical requirements necessary to participate on the emergency response and mine rescue team.

Required

• grade 12 or equivalent;
• class 5 drivers license;
• minimum of three years of relevant work experience;
• experience working on loader, vacuum truck, packer-trainee, bus, sand truck, garbage truck and skid steer;
• willing to perform manual labour including airport maintenance support;
• excellent reading, writing and communication skills are essential;
• mechanically inclined, knowledge of equipment and hand tools;
• safety-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills;
• active participation in Emergency Response Team (ERT), including completion of required training; and
• work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
