Discovery Ford Sales Ltd. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Automotive Shop Assistant to join our Service Department. The successful candidate will assist with routine vehicle maintenance, general shop upkeep, customer transportation, and a variety of other tasks to support daily shop operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance
- Assist with tire changes, installations, and rotations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Perform general shop cleaning and maintenance duties
- Provide shuttle transportation for service customers
- Assist service technicians and other team members as required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence
- Basic automotive knowledge or experience considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Weekday shifts with occasional weekend work as required.
