Senior Technologist, Water & Wastewater

We're seeking an innovative and collaborative Senior Technologist, Water Rights, Approvals & Compliance to join our Water & Wastewater team.

In this role, you'll support WSA's regulatory programs by reviewing applications, investigating complaints, and providing technical expertise related to approvals, compliance, enforcement, and water management. Your work will help ensure Saskatchewan's surface and groundwater resources are developed and managed responsibly and sustainably.

You'll also contribute to Duty to Consult activities, Environmental Assessment Reviews, and stakeholder education initiatives. Using your technical expertise, you'll evaluate hydrogeological, hydrometric, geological, and meteorological data, assess water supply and allocation matters, and provide recommendations that support sound regulatory decisions.

You will possess a Diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology or Water Resources Engineering Technology or a similar technical discipline and be eligible for certification obtained through the Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPS).
