About this role
The Shop Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility while ensuring that shop equipment, tools, machinery, and building systems are kept in good working condition. This position involves performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and general facility upkeep to support efficient daily operations.
Shop and Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on shop equipment, machinery, tools, and fixtures.
Conduct regular inspections of shop equipment and report any defects, damage, or safety concerns.
Assist with preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment according to established schedules.
Identify maintenance issues and report equipment requiring specialized repairs or servicing.
Maintain shop tools and equipment in good working condition.
Assist with basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting as required.
