Rooftop Loader/Swamper

Fries Tallman Lumber is one of the oldest independently owned retail lumberyards in Saskatchewan.

We are seeking a highly energetic, reliable yard attendants.

Daily duties include but are not limited to

• Work closely with a driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles on both 2 story and bungalow
• Carry and deliver various sizes of drywall
• Assist with loading trucks
• Report damages and returned items
• Use proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory
• Comply with all health and safety rules, regulations and laws

Requirements

• Requires physical strength and stamina
• Previous experience/familiarity of working at heights preferred
• Ability to lift 80lbs repeatedly
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Familiarity with building materials and lumber an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada
