Public Works Foreman

The Northern Village of Air Ronge is inviting applications for a full-time, permanent Public Works Foreman to join our Municipal operations team.  This position reports to the Chief Administration Officer (CAO) and is responsible for organizing and directing all public works and infrastructure-related functions, including maintenance and operations management planning, scheduling, procurement, supervision, and reporting.  This position is responsible for directing the maintenance and operations of all equipment and facilities, hydrants, lift stations and related utility infrastructure, parks and rinks, roadways, drainage, refuse collection, and signage in the Village.  The Foreman establishes and maintains an occupational health and safety program and ensures that all Workplace Safety and Health standards are followed by staff and contractors.  The Foreman may respond to emergency situations and be required to be on call on a rotational basis, including evenings and weekends.

The Public Works Foreman is offered an annual salary range of $77,350 to $91,000, dependent upon experience and qualifications.  The Village of Air Ronge offers a competitive benefits package including pension, and professional development opportunities.
