Production Carpenter

Production Carpenter  Varo Builds Inc. (Moose Jaw, SK) Full-time, permanent. MondayFriday, day shift $24 TO $34 per hour depending on experience.

Varo Builds manufactures fully finished floor, wall, and roof assemblies in our Moose Jaw factory. If you've spent winters framing outdoors, this is the same craft under a roof  layout, measuring, squaring, fastening, and holding tight tolerances, just with light gauge steel, EPS insulation, and FRP instead of lumber. Your carpentry skills transfer directly. We'll teach you the rest.

What you'll do

Build and assemble floor, wall, and roof panels to shop drawings

Frame openings, install fastening systems, and cut and fit components to spec

Run quality checks  squareness, dimensions, adhesive coverage, finish

Keep your area clean and work safely with the crew around you

What you bring

Experience in residential or light commercial construction (required; equivalent shop or manufacturing experience considered)

Comfortable reading shop drawings and working to tight tolerances

Overhead crane, telehandler (zoom boom), or forklift certification an asset  we'll certify you if you don't have it

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift

Occasional travel to job sites; valid Class 5 license needed for those assignments
