Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is currently accepting applications for Labourers/Welder Helpers to join our growing team in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), you will support fabrication and construction activities in both shop and field environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in the skilled trades.
Responsibilities include
Reporting fit for duty at the beginning of each shift
Assisting with mechanical and structural fabrication activities
Performing shop and site setup and cleanup
Assisting with piping bolt-up activities
Loading and unloading trailers and materials
Safely operating tools and equipment
Transporting materials between shop and work site locations
Rigging and signaling lifting equipment (training provided)
General housekeeping and other assigned duties
The successful candidate will
Be safety conscious and committed to safe work practices
Be physically capable of lifting over 20lbs, working safely at heights, and performing work site duties
Hold or be willing to obtain valid First Aid and H2S Alive certifications before starting
Be interested in pursuing a Welding or Pipefitting apprenticeship (considered an asset)
Have experience with, or a willingness to learn, civil, structural, and piping activities
Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and travel throughout Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba
Hold a valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract (Class 5G preferred or willingness to obtain)
This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will also be completed upon hire in accordance with provincial regulations.
