Pharmacy Assistant/Cashier

Greet customer promptly and gather prescription information

Refer patients to Pharmacist for clinical questions

Maintain and control the cash register as per store policy

Resolve customer queries in-person and on the phone

Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information

Receive, enter, adjudicate prescriptions and make them ready for final check. Communicate with provincial and private plans for billing inquiries. Compounding of medications.

Maintain and file documentation as per standards of practice regulations

Inventory management including ordering of medications and return of expired stock

Assist the pharmacist in other activities as required
