Pharmacy Assistant (Compliance Packaging & Dispensary Support)
The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacy team by preparing compliance packaging, assisting with prescription workflow, and performing general dispensary duties to ensure efficient and accurate patient care. This role is essential in maintaining organized operations, supporting medication management programs, and delivering excellent service to patients and healthcare partners.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain compliance packaging in accordance with pharmacy procedures and quality standards.
Assist with prescription preparation, data entry, and workflow support under the direction of the pharmacist.
Manage inventory, receive orders, stock medications, and monitor supplies.
Organize and maintain patient records and prescription files.
Assist with prescription pickup and coordinate deliveries as required.
Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily dispensary operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dispensary environment.
Adhere to all pharmacy policies, privacy requirements, and regulatory standards.
