Permanent Full-Time Security Person

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Permanent Full-Time Security Person at Yorkton Regional High School in Yorkton, Sk.

The security person will provide for the care, welfare, safety and security of students and staff.

Assignment

8 hours/day effective November 16, 2026

Salary Details

• In Accordance with the CUPE 4784 Collective Agreement

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:

• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Able to conduct patrols
• Personal and communication skills
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Basic computer and writing skills
• Security Guard Certificate or License is considered an asset
• First Aid/CPR is considered an asset

Salary and Benefits

• The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $21.00 - $23.44 plus applicable vacation pay.

Benefits include participation in participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan if eligible, and the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP) and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
