NDT Specialist

PWM Hydraulics is seeking an experienced NDT Specialist to support our Quality Assurance department and help establish and develop our in-house non-destructive testing capabilities. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in NDT inspection, procedures, standards, and methods within a hydraulic manufacturing environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:

Perform applicable NDT inspections of hydraulic components, welds, and manufactured products.

Develop, implement, and maintain NDT procedures and inspection practices.

Provide technical guidance to Quality Assurance and production personnel.

Evaluate and document inspection results, indications, defects, and nonconformities.

Ensure NDT activities follow applicable codes, standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Maintain NDT procedures, inspection records, documentation, and acceptance criteria.

Support selection, calibration, verification, and maintenance of NDT equipment.

Help establish and expand the companys NDT program and capabilities.

Support improvements to NDT processes and quality controls.

• *Qualifications:
• *

Valid CGSB or ISO 9712 Level II or III certification in applicable NDT methods.

Certification in one or more methods such as MT, PT, UT, PAUT, or TOFD.

Minimum 35 years of hands-on NDT experience, preferably in manufacturing, hydraulic, welding, fabrication, or industrial environments.

Strong knowledge of NDT procedures, codes, standards, and acceptance criteria.

Ability to independently implement NDT procedures and inspection practices.

Strong understanding of quality assurance and inspection processes.

Ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate findings clearly.

Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience developing an NDT program and additional NDT methods are assets.
