Casual Early Childhood Educator

SIGN Early Learning Centre is seeking, flexible, attentive and creative individuals to support and inspire early childhood development, learning and care. The successful individuals will work within a team of Early Childhood Educators to meet the needs of the children through routines, play, meals and developmental opportunities, while maintaining the health and safety of all.  This is a casual position commencing as soon as possible and as needed.

Expectations

Ensure that safe work practices, policies and procedures are being followed;

Interact with children safely and appropriately;

Provide encouragement and support to all the children;

Maintain an orderly and clean environment ensuring the safety of the children at all times;

Help to deliver developmentally appropriate programming for children age 18 months to 6 years of age which embraces the vision of Play and Exploration;

Record and report pertinent information;

Take an active part in training a professional development activity.
