Mine Site Hotel Administrator (Eldorado operation)

• *CANDIDATES WITH A VALID CLASS 5 DRIVER'S LICENSE WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE.
• *WE COVER TRAVEL (to-and-from site, out of Saskatoon or Prince Albert), MEALS & ACCOMMODATION AT SITE.
• *Job is located at the Eldorado Mine site, approximately 3.5 hours northeast of Prince Albert & 85 km west of Flin Flon.
• *REQUIRES SHIFT WORK WITH COMPRESSED WORKWEEKS - 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.
• *YOU MUST PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.

This role is responsible for the daily administrative functions of the site, with a heavy emphasis on reservations. The ideal candidate will have lodge/camp/hotel administrative experience, especially with hotel reservation management systems. HOTEL FRONT DESK AND/OR HOTEL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFFERED.

Job duties include

• Fulfilling both hotel front desk & hotel management functions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Manages all daily site department administrative work on site.
• Coordinates, verifies, & administers changes.
• Completes room changes & man-days in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Provide training & coverage for Housing Managers when required.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative & organizational skills in busy, high-volume, client service settings.
• Very strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize & manage databases.
• Related experience with automated man-days/room allocation and/or payroll systems (preferred).
• Good knowledge of man-days and payroll terminology & practices (preferred).
• Team player, with team management skills.
• A suitable combination of education, training, & experience may be considered.
