Millwright
Hughes Collective is recruiting a Millwright on behalf of Inland Steel Products, a growing metal recycling and processing company. This opportunity is based at Inland's new operations facility in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
The Opportunity
This hands-on maintenance position involves repairing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining stationary machinery, heavy equipment and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete equipment repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
Repair, install and maintain stationary machinery, heavy equipment and mechanical systems.
Work with hydraulics, conveyors, compressors and related processing equipment.
Perform welding and support maintenance around VFD/high-voltage systems.
Complete work orders and required safety documentation.
Qualifications
Valid Journeyperson Millwright ticket or a combination of related education and work experience.
Experience maintaining and repairing stationary machinery, heavy equipment and mechanical systems.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
Experience with hydraulics, welding, conveyors, compressors or VFDs is an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and basic computer skills.
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and communication.
