Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator

All-Rite Mechanical Ltd. is an established commercial mechanical contractor that has been in operation in the Southern Saskatchewan area for over 35 years and we are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from award through to substantial completion and close out.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, subtrades, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and address issues as they arrive.
• Review and manage project budgets, track costs, and report on project financial performance.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate change orders and subcontract scopes.
• Assist with estimating and tender perparation, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid assembly.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope is clearly understood and priced accurately.
• Analyze job cost data and past estimates to identify trends and improve future pricing accuracy.

Minimum 5 years experience in either Plumbing or Sheet Metal required. You would work on a wide range (size and type) of commercial projects in and around the Regina from our office located in Emerald Park, Sask.

Strong organization and time management skills.

Proficient in Excel and strong familiarity with Windows based software.

Analytical skills. Reviewing past estimates and jobs costs to understand average costs, trends, etc.

Ability to work well within a team.

Previous Estimating or Project Management experience is beneficial.

Blueprint reading and ability to review and understand specifications.
