Major Gifts & Donor Relations Lead

POSITION SUMMARY: The Major Gifts & Donor Relations Lead is responsible for developing and strengthening individual donor relationships and implementing strategies to grow and sustain individual giving revenue for YWCA Saskatoon. The role leads donor prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship across major gifts, annual giving, monthly giving and planned or legacy giving programs. The Lead also maintains relationships with capital campaign donors, supports outstanding pledge fulfilment and develops relationships with third-party fundraising partners. Working collaboratively with the Fund Development team, the Lead strengthens donor engagement, retention and long-term philanthropic support for YWCA Saskatoon.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Donor Prospecting & Portfolio Management:
2. Identify, research and cultivate prospective individual donors while managing an assigned donor portfolio.
3. Individual Giving Programs:
4. Develop and implement strategies for major gifts, annual giving, monthly giving and planned or legacy giving.
5. Donor Stewardship & Recognition:
6. Develop stewardship strategies that strengthen donor relationships, demonstrate impact and encourage continued support.
7. Capital Campaign Donor Relations:
8. Maintain relationships with capital campaign donors through ongoing communication, stewardship and impact reporting.
9. Third-Party Fundraising:
10. Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, community groups and organizations conducting third-party fundraisers.
11. Community Engagement:
12. Represent YWCA Saskatoon and develop strategic relationships with community organizations, businesses, funders and other stakeholders.
