Labourer / Welder's Helper

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is seeking Labourers/Welder Helpers to join our team in Moose Jaw.

Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), this position will support RCESIs fabrication and construction activities in shop and field environments. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in hands-on work and building a career in the skilled trades.

Responsibilities include

Reporting fit for duty at the beginning of each shift

Assisting with mechanical and structural fabrication

Performing setup, cleanup, and general housekeeping

Assisting with piping bolt-up activities

Loading and unloading trailers and materials

Safely operating tools and equipment as required

Transporting materials between shop and worksite locations

Rigging and signaling lifting equipment, with training provided

Supporting other shop and field activities as required

Qualifications

Safety conscious and committed to meeting all safety requirements

Physically capable of lifting over 20 lbs, working at heights, and maintaining worksite mobility

First Aid and H2S Alive certification required at start date

Interest in enrolling in or working toward a welding or pipefitting apprenticeship is an asset

Experience with or willingness to learn civil, structural, and piping work

Valid drivers licence with clean abstract; Class 5G preferred or willingness to obtain

Willingness to travel throughout Southern SK, Alberta, and Manitoba

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required

Additional safety training is an asset.

Schedule: Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime, weekends, and shifts as required.

Safety Sensitive Position: Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled upon hire as required.
