About this role
Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is seeking a Journeyperson Pipefitter to join our team in Moose Jaw.
Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), this position will support RCESIs fabrication and construction activities in shop and field environments.
Responsibilities include
Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and P&IDs
Measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing piping systems
Performing pipe layout, fabrication, and installation
Assisting with pressure testing and inspections
Operating tools and equipment safely
Working with welders, labourers, supervisors, and other trades
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
Following company, client, and site-specific safety requirements
Completing required documentation and safety paperwork
Supporting other fabrication, construction, and maintenance activities as required
Qualifications
Journeyperson Pipefitter certification
Experience in construction, fabrication, and/or oil & gas
Ability to read drawings, specifications, and P&IDs
Strong pipe fitting, layout, fabrication, and installation skills
Safety conscious with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physically capable of lifting over 20 lbs, working at heights, and maintaining worksite mobility
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers licence with clean abstract
Willingness to work in shop and field environments, travel as required, and work overtime/weekends/shift work
First Aid and H2S Alive certification required at start date.
Additional safety training is an asset.
Schedule: Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime, weekends, and shifts as required.
Safety Sensitive Position: Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled upon hire as required.
