About this role
Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is seeking Journeyperson Pressure Welders to join our team in Moose Jaw.
Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), this position will support RCESIs fabrication and construction activities in shop and field environments. DSP Welders are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities include
Reading and interpreting drawings, welding symbols, specifications, and WPS requirements
Fitting and welding structural and piping components
Operating welding, cutting, power, and hand tools safely
Performing welding work at heights as required
Following RCESI Quality Control and Safety Programs and applicable codes
Completing equipment inspections and required documentation
Maintaining safe, clean, and organized work areas
Working effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades
Qualifications
Journeyperson Welder certification with valid Saskatchewan pressure welding certification or equivalent
Minimum 2 years pipe fabrication and production-shop welding experience
Experience producing welds that pass X-ray inspection
Valid F3/F4 qualifications
Knowledge of welding codes and ability to follow RCESI WPS requirements
Safety conscious and physically capable of performing the demands of the position
Valid drivers licence with clean abstract
First Aid and H2S Alive certification required at start date
Willingness to travel throughout Southern SK, Alberta, and Manitoba
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shift work as required
Additional safety training is an asset.
Schedule: Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime, weekends, and shifts as required.
Safety Sensitive Position: Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled upon hire as required.
