Ellis Mechanical Services is hiring an experienced Journeyperson Plumber / Gasfitter to join our Saskatoon service team.
Were looking for someone who enjoys service work, troubleshooting, working independently and providing excellent customer service.
What we offer
- $40$42/hour base wage, depending on experience
- Total compensation valued at approximately $49/hour at the top of the range
- Full-time, year-round MondayFriday work
- Overtime available, but not expected
- Take-home service truck and gas card

- Primarily Saskatoon-based service work
- No sales quotas or pressure to upsell
- No 24/7 public emergency service
- Occasional rotating after-hours coverage for urgent warranty/service issues related to Ellis-installed equipment
The role includes
- Residential plumbing service, repair and maintenance
- Diagnosing plumbing, heating and mechanical issues
- Water heater and gas-related service work
- HVAC service and troubleshooting based on experience
- Communicating findings and repair options with customers
- Completing service documentation through our mobile scheduling system
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Plumber / Gasfitter certification or equivalent Red Seal
- Strong service, repair and troubleshooting experience
- Valid drivers licence and insurable driving record
- Reliable, professional and comfortable working independently
HVAC experience is an asset. We support continued training and development.
