About this role
Bow-way Electric is seeking a qualified, motivated, and safety-focused Journeyperson Electrician to join our team, working on a variety of oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout the industry.
Our work includes new construction, facility expansions, and ongoing maintenance across the oil and gas sector. Projects range from the construction of gas plants, oil batteries, and new well sites to electrical maintenance at producing oil wells, oil batteries, gas plants, and refineries. We work on both heavy oil and light oil projects, offering a diverse range of opportunities and hands-on experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Saskatchewan Journeyperson Electrician Certificate.
Red Seal endorsement in the electrical trade.
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work at various oil and gas sites as project requirements dictate.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Scope of Work
Electrical construction and installation for gas plants, oil batteries, and new well sites.
Electrical work on both heavy oil and light oil developments.
Preventative and corrective maintenance on oil wells, oil batteries, gas plants, and refineries.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Working alongside other trades and project teams to complete work safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
