About this role
Provide services to those that are "at risk", experiencing homelessness, living on the streets, couch surfing etc. Must have valid drivers license, own vehicle, be able to provide a CIPC. Knowledge of situations faced by those that are experiencing homelessness. Understanding of mental health and addictions. Ability to work in and provide culturally diverse programming.
Job duties include
provide support
advocate and network for safe housing
program planning
assist with emergency food/clothing
resume writing
data collection
ability to travel
outreach work
co-facilitate group programs
knowledge of community supports
computer knowledge/data entry
willing to take training
be flexible/adaptable and work as part of a team
hours may vary and include some evenings during winter months
