About this role
Wiping down of shelves, putting all library material back on shelves, shelf reading.
Requires the ability to learn the Dewey Decimal system and other library filing systems.
The work includes walking and standing for extended periods, bending and stretching to reach high and low shelves, and moving/arranging furniture for library events.
Must be 15 years or older. During summer break, more hours. It is a year-round position of approximately 8-10 hours per week. Must be available Monday & Friday 4-6 pm, Tuesday-Thursday 4-8 pm, Saturday 2-5 pm.
