Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice

Trig Energy Services is currently accepting applications for a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice. This is a full-time position based out of Edam, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced mechanics to help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our fleet of trucks and equipment while gaining hands-on experience and developing their mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with an interest in working on heavy equipment and trucks
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is an asset
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics
• Ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Reliable, motivated

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining trucks and equipment
• Help diagnose mechanical faults and malfunctions
• Assist with repairing or replacing defective parts and components
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing
• Assist with testing and inspecting repaired equipment to ensure proper operation
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and work area
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Work alongside experienced mechanics to develop skills and gain hands-on experience
