Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Certificates, Licences, Memberships and Courses : Food Safety Certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food;

Establish methods to meet work schedules and assign duties to staff;

Train staff in job duties, sanitation standards, safety procedures, and company policies;

Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding new staff;

Monitor employee performance and provide direction and support;

Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation;

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;

Address customers' complaints or concerns;

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;

Prepare and submit operational reports;

Ensure compliance with workplace safety and employment standards; and

Support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
